AT33EV Evolution
Having a "warmer" sound than the OC9 we are very pleased to be
able to supply this Japanese made AT33EV Evolution in the UK at
last!
This is the more
expensive version of the no longer available AT33PTG.
The original model
of this stereo cartridge is the AT33ANV, which was available as
a special release to celebrate AT's 45th anniversary. The A33ANV
was the first in the AN33 series to feature a Duralumin
cantilever, which received wide acclaim for its sound quality.
Retaining the basic specification, AT present a further improved
and evolved model.
The A33EV is a ½ inch, standard mount 0.3 x 0.7 mm elliptical
cartridge featuring a tapered Duralumin cantilever which reduces
the effective mass of the cartridge, resulting in a more durable
cantilever. The Dual Moving Coil cartridge design increases
channel separation and extends the frequency response range
delivering extraordinary audio quality. Internally constructed
with a neodymium magnet enhances magnetic energy and PCOCC wire
for pure audio transmission.

How do we get that price?
We love Audio Technica and we buy a shed load of stuff from
them. They seem to like us too, so we get the best
possible price, and 'cos we are nice guys, we pass this on to
you!
If you bought one
from Japan on eBay you would find Parcel Force adding a £12
handling charge, import duty at 5% and VAT at 17.5%, you would
need to pay this before Parcel Force would deliver to you, I
know, I did it! The total cost of an eBay special would be
£441.00. You would save £8, have to wait two weeks for
delivery, and have absolutely no UK guarantee or support at all,
